Studio Policies
- Must
be at least 18 years of age to receive a tattoo in New York State. Therefore, anyone tattooing a person under
the age of 18 is breaking the law. It's just that simple.
- Must be at least 16 years of age to receive a body piercing. Parent/ legal guardian
must be present with valid photo identification (refer to the next section). No nipple, genital, surface or large gauge
piercings will be performed on minors.
- Must have valid, government issued photo identification. This includes drivers license, learners permit,
non-drivers photo identification, military identification or a passport. Minors may have a birth certificate if no other
forms of ID are available, but still, minors must present one or the other! School ID's, credit cards, library cards,
go-cart track ID's are useless and are unacceptable forms of ID. NO EXCUSES!!!
Minor Policy
Minors will be pierced, but ONLY
when accompanied with a parent or legal guardian.
Parent or LEGALguardian
must have valid government issued photo I.D. Piercee
(the person being pierced) must have some sort of valid I.D. Whether it be an original birth certificate
or drivers permit. If legal gaurdian is not the biological
parent of piercee, he or she must provide legal guardian papers - this is a MUST! No nipple of genital piercings will be performed on minors PERIOD. No tattoos will be performed on any minor PERIOD.
We're not trying to be jerks, we just like to follow local, state and federal
laws. Keep in mind that following age and consent laws is easy- you simply just don't pierce people without proper identification.
If a shop is breaking simple-to-follow laws like age and consent laws, be aware that they may also be breaking
harder-to-follow laws such as sterilization. Most shops that don't I.D. minors usually aren't reputable shops to
begin with.
So, in short, PLEASE BRING YOUR VALID PHOTO ID!

A $20 deposit is required for all tattoo appointments, which will be used to hold your time slot and will be applied to the
final cost of your tattoo. If you do not leave a deposit, you therefore do not have an appointment.
- All deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE!!!
- No one under 14 years of age is allowed in the studio at any time. Period.
- Tattoo quotes cannot be given over
the phone...it's almost impossible. Asking how much "a small tattoo on my left shoulder" might be
is like asking "how much is a bag of groceries". Understand? The minimum we charge is $50,
with tattoo prices averaging $90 an hour.
- Cash and major credit cards are accepted. No checks.
- It
is always best to call ahead of time for piercings. If Dan is busy, then he will stop accepting piercings early.
It is also best to come in as early as possible for piercings.
- Anyone wanting a piercing must arrive by at least 6:00 pm. No piercings will be accepted
after that time.
- We
reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.
- No exceptions.
